In each of the cities and communities, at the end of the 3 days of workshops, an evening of projection followed by a citizen exchange will take place and sometimes other dancing activities…Detailed schedules per city at the bottom of this page.

|Screenings of Autumn’s Spring

The moving documentary “Autumn’s Spring”, produced by Thierry Thieû Niang, presents the fruit of seven years of work for 20 retirees from Marseille with the choreographer. Nurses, housewives, professors or doctors, aged 60 to 87, and without any choreographic experience interpret a variation of the masterpiece of Stravinsky The Rite of Spring.

See how the show they toured on the biggest stages of the world has enriched their lives, releasing them, giving them faith in themselves and bringing a bit of spring in their autumn. A documentary that traces an extraordinary human journey.

|Citizen Exchanges

A citizen exchange, a talk will follow the projection and will be animated in each city by exchanges of public personalities – artists, dance and health professionals, philosophers, sociologists, politicians – who will ask questions about our relationship with old age in our society.

What are the roles of our elders in our societies where life expectancy is constantly increasing? How can they maintain a sense of being useful to others? Are there no building bridges between the generations of elders and the new generations?

All activities are free. No reservations possible.
